I just hope Gonzalez gets a to play nearly every game from now till the end of the season, he just looks a bit short of confidence at the moment and i believe he can become a wonderful player for us he is still very young after all.

Any other day we would have beat the scum comfortabley, we were just very, very unlucky.
Fair enough we could do with a few more quality players but i don't think we could fault the lads on saturday, we played good football and created a few chnaces against a rock solid defence.

Truth is (like it or not) it wasn't about being unlucky IMO, we didn't take our chances AGAIN and should've been in a position (i.e. 2 or 3 nil up) where O Shea's goal wouldn't have mattered. I have a pain in me bollix watchin' us dominate teams and not ****in' score, it's been a regular occurence over the last two seasons at least. That game on saturday reminded me of the Blackburn game on Boxing day - Another game where we should've been at least 1 or 2 nil up and end up getting robbed by a late goal.


Bottom line is we need a prolific striker which we haven't had since the welsh dwarf left (and no I wouldn't want him back ) We've just gotta hope that Rafa get's a 20 goal a year striker in the summer because the strikers we have are all good support strikers, all except God of course who as we all know isn't gettin' any younger

I don't quite understand when people say we were very very unlucky.

Did we hit the post and it rolled along the goal line and not go in? No

Did we have a legimate goal chalked off? No Bellers WAS offside.

Did we repeatedly have shots on goal only to be saved by a keeper playing out of his skin? No VDS made two decent saves and that is it.

Did we have any decent penalty shouts turned down? No, in fact Manure had a better claim to a penalty that us.

Did we lose a man for being wrongly sent off? No, in fact they had a player sent off for doing a girlie slap on Alonso.


Enough of this unlucky ****e. Manure took their chance and our strikers didn't.
