It is interesting that they have quoted Koeman from the Sunday Mirror and haven't bothered getting an update themselves. Hopefully that means it's bollocks. I've gotta say it's made me nervous though.

Haha, I knew it. It was all just speculation and gossip. Never believe anyone with a so called 'source'

nothing has been resolved yet and groucho has been right in the past so the mirror story could be rubbish.

surely if those comments had and substance it would have been on their official website?

How legit is Sportnetwork? And who is Jan Pettinga? Just saw this:

If it's true then Kuyt's making all the wrong noises all of a sudden.

If he wants to go to Newcastle the guy has no ambition.

It seems very similar to a story (and quotes) from earlier in the summer.

If it's been regurgitated intentionally from the Kuyt camp, it means we have pulled out and he's trying to make the best out of it. Course, the whole thing could be bollocks.

It's impossible to tell. I still hold out hope that we'll get him.

he clearly understands that newcastle are so devoid of any quality that you're a hero the minute you sign for them hence the " i want to be a hero" quotes. where as at LFC he'd have to prove himself.

if these quotes are recent and he'd "consider" us then i think rafa will move on to the next target.

Neither will I mate but I think it's quite "funny" that this keeps on happenning.

                      We'll see .

The words "done deal" are a kiss of death.

oh well then let him go to the barcodes because he'll soon realise his mistake.

I finally watched Goal! the other night. I think it should be mandatory viewing for any striker we're considering buying in the future, preferably early on in the process.
