they don't have to say that they're LFC fans from birth they just have to show commitment I.E. i'd be happy to play for LFC in a great league like the EPL etc.. etc.. blah blah blah.

the barcodes only trophies are their signings owen, duff, luque, shearer, dyer etc... any player who would want to sign for them over us needs their heads testing. if he'd said the mancs, the chavs or the arse were his choice then i could understand, at least those 3 are competetive and have the chance to win honours but the barcodes?!?! they guy is obviously ill informed and will live to regret his decision should he go there. just ask a certain mr. owen.

To be honest, I'm beggining to think the Mirror piece was rubbish too. Of Course Koeman is going to say he wants Kuyt to stay, but it's got nothing to do with him. Kuyt has one year left on his contract and they could lose him for free next summer.

It could be a case of his agent leaking a story while talks over personal terms are going on, but that might be wishful thinking.
