      Me too.

"Hard work" should be a bare minimum, for ****s sake.

We all know Rafa hates strikers that score goals.

if bellamy's running and pace was supposedly something that extended shearer's career, can't he do the same for robbie?

its a bit depressing how "grasping at straws" this post is. it says everything for how poo are forward line is at the moment.

There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Agree with you anfieldanfield. That header was pure genius and the way he made space for himself and sniffed at that chance was Robbie at his best. If he had 10/15 games under his belt, he would easily have been our top scorer. We need someone like him soon ... Or we won't get anywhere with this team.

Sorry, lads, Fowler's finished and won't be offered a new contract. Rafa sees him in training every day and never plays him. Either you or Rafa is wrong...

Why haven't we signed any then?

Fowler is past his best I agree but he's still the best finisher amongst the lot and younger players we currently have. The way he pounced for that header was typical of him and it's that type of player we've been missing this season. Robbie has always been slow to regain his fitness since he had his injury problems ... That's what has been missing from his game. His talent is still there ...

But as you say, the buck stops with Rafa but I'd prefer to see him still around instead of watching an unknown 'crow' in his place.

A fully fit Fowler would have buried that chance...

I'm not paid millions of pounds a year, with a wealth of recources and an army of scouts all around the world to make these decisions though, am I Rushy ?

For the record, I started several threads over the summer saying I didn't want Kuyt or Bellamy at the club, in fact, I even pointed towards Berbatov as a superior player...

So who do you reckon Rafa should sign? Seriously?

There is a dirth in quality strikers at the moment. Some people are even doubting whether Eto'o is good enough.

If he had missed some obvious signings then I would agree with the criticism but who is there who would improve our team?
