I'll give you 3 out of those 5. But not Gary Mac. And McManaman was a completely different type of player.
Gary Mac had a greater influence on the team in one season than Redknapp had in 10. And he was 35 at the time. In my book Gary Mac is a greater Liverpool legend than Redknapp, despite the fact he probably didnt play as many as 50 games for us.

hugely overrated yes. we won the treble without him so he can't have been that impacting. could hit a great shot two inches above the bar though.

Redknapp was a very good midfielder, Souness and Gerrard were World Class, Jan was top quality and Gary Mac was the right player at the right time.

All of the above barring Redders and StevieG were surrounded by complimentary players who were of a high standard. I doubt Molby would have done much better in the kick and rush premiership that Redders played in, especially when he had no one to do the tackling or running for him.

Unfair post in otherwords. No one said he was an LFC legend or a World Class player, just that he was a very good one, and barring injuries could have been even better.

And he was also a top, top pro, and a great example to kids, which is why he was probably captain.
          Forwards.......

No he's too much of a pretty boy for me but he does wear nice shirt and tie combos.

              You prefer ugs, eh?
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I met some of Sean Bean's drinking buddies recently. If you make it worth my while, I could tell you which Working Man's Club he visits regularly.

David Tennant is quite effeminate I think.
