he is not '****' he just shines in a chelsea team that allows him to do **** all work.....But you would be happy with that return from a striker never mind a midfielfer. As regards his scoring ratge for england.....yeh did well against nobodies and when he had to raise his game , he went missing

chelsea have an excellent squad and are superbly organised but they lack guile and inspiration - thats why they always fail in the champions league and thats why enough epl teams will work them out tactically to stop them winning the title.

I honestly think Chelsea could implode in all manner of ways this season. Could. They could also click and blow everyone away, but there are so many factors that could turn sour for them...

• Ballack playing in a position that isn't suited to him

• Simply too many cooks to spoil their horrible broth. Square pegs all over the park in a bid to shoehorn as much "talent" into the side as possible?

• Mourinho not getting enough attention/credit for their achievments, and his ego suffering as a result

• An ageing Makelele

• Right-back is a problem position for them

• A lack of genuine width

• The 'Real Madrid' syndrome

Shevchenko will prove a great signing for them.. I expect them to be outplayed in many games next year only for chavchenko to score the winner

We beat a team yesterday that weren't up to top speed. No great shakes, though I was pleased that our team looked quite efficient, and purposeful going forward. Also, Momo seems to be carrying this wonderful form through to the season.

Chelsea will be the team to catch this year - No doubt. Shevchenko looks different class - catch the embarrassed, and hopeful appeals for offside

However, I can never really get that excited about beating Chelsea in a friendly. They may be the best team in the premiership at the moment, but they're a classless club and there is no genuine rivalry that stretches back further than a couple of years. Man U will always be the team i look forward to beating no matter what the game, love watching us gubb the blue****es, also love us playing the arse and the bar-codes cause they're usually good spectacles. However Chelsea pah! Jonny-come-latelies who hold no real purpose for me.
