    Perhaps.

Just think that certain people on here are getting ahead of themselves posting lists of players and the prices they'll cost. Truth is we have absolutley no idea what Rafa has to spend or who he'll sign. Just the way it should be.

The great thing about the transfer dealings rafa has done so far is that the clubs gonna make big money on the players he will eventually discard. A far cry from Monsieur Houllier. This will help augment team building and, if the Times story is true, will offset the inevitable "you're just like Chelsea" jibes. One other point. I think(hope?) Man U's really big spending days are over. Carrick was only bought with the windfall from Obi Mikel (15mill). They may give him the cash for one big signing a season but I reckon that might be it!
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

We have been linked with every player on my list Rafa have even tried to sign three of them(Villa, Alves and Richards).
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Villa and Alves, yes. I definitely don't remember being linked with Huntellar or Ribery. Not recently anyway.

P.S. When did we try and sign Micah Richards?

                      Sure about that mate?

There's a difference between having a supposed interest in a player and actually attempting to sign him.

My advice would be to ignore who the media link us with between now and the summer. They'll be playing their favourite game of 2+2=5 every day with these rumours of Rafa having a significant transfer wedge to spend. It basically gives the red tops carte blanche to print complete fiction.
