I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

True. I was putting voronin in the same bracket as garcia. Hopefuuly we will sign Eto'o, Simao & Alves. I would be chuffed with that.

Not the point of the article I know, but, the main reason Fabregas was 'distinctly below-par' was that Mascher OWNED him.

Just going back to the point where it says that RAFA will be given a 40 m £ kitty. I think it's way below what expected. Moores used to give around 30-35m £ so this is basically bull**** or the club do not want to give the exact amount so clubs wont start ripping us off with silly amounts.
Anythying less than 75 m £ is not good enough to win the prem.
We are short of at least 4 world class players to win the prem next season.
                Two wingers(left & right), 1 striker, 1 left back.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If you go back to the GED years that is exactly what the kitty was, around 30 m£. Do your research lazy git.

                          very interesting

for £40 mill its one world class signing and maybe one good signing. lets not forget world class costs alot. Also how many players do we need? an what effect will they have? look at the start that chelski and ourselves had. both had a fair number of new players and did not start as we hoped.

my point is that i dont see a revolution this summer that would cost chelski money and that wont happen also that if we did buy alot of players we probably wouldnt win the league do to settling in time.

i don`t think we need to spend big money, all we have to do is avoid starting like we did this season and hope manure sell Ronaldo.

quincy sorry to dissagree i think we do need to spend big money. just not on alot of players. if we want an alves or an eto or a villa it means big money.

the point i was making was that big money doenst mean lots of players. some people think we will buy 4 or 5 top class players. we cant afford that only chelski could do that. and even if we did it would mean a poor start i would think
