Nothing you could ever say would convince me that a European Cup final between Man Utd and Liverpool can be dismissed as "just a sport".

I have friends who are Manc supporters. Do I hate them ? I can't stand their faces during a game, but when it's finished, we move on.

As for going into such extremes as stating that United vs LFC in a European Cup final is more than a 'game', then I'm sorry mate but you're clearly on the wrong path ... That would be behaving like animals.

I'd be happy taking their taunts, but i'm 100% sure that wouldn't be the case for everyone... It would only take 1 or 2 to start wading in, and then 5 or 6 going into help their friends, before it quickly escalates into the whole ****ing lot end up cutting lumps out of each other!

It's the foreign factor of this that's the problem. If it was in England then there'd be no problem as they'd be able to handle the logistics of travel, segregation etc.

I know what you mean as it happened to me numerous times i.e being on the wrong end of taunts etc ... and as I am a ****ing bad loser, I tend to losemy temper but ... in the end, that's just a storm inside a teacup.

I won't even go to Old Trafford anymore unless it's a semi against someone else - and even then you get harrassed by Mancs before and after the game.

Slim I really hope we're both right, the club has its' tail up right now, this augurs well. It is only in the lat two tears that I have been able to control myself enough to go to united games, I don't think that I could show restraint in a CL Final.
