How much would you HATE it...

A Liverpool vs. Man U final.

Yes, OK there's a lot to do before hand...

But if it did happen it would be unbearable, the pre-match nerves would be unsurpassed.

A mate who watched the game with me said, 'surely (hypothetically) you'd forgo winning the PL for years to get one over on them...'

    "Not sure about that!"

But he went on (getting on my tits now), 'but can you imagine the pain of getting beaten on pens against them'.

It'd be ****ing HELL on earth let's face it.

    C'Mon Roma
    ...
Don't take life too seriously or you'll never get out alive.

Losing that final would be so bad I genuinely dont think I could ever love Liverpool in the same way again.

    It would be hell.

    Come on Roma. Please.

I can't see them getting past Roma without Neville and Vidic so I'm not worried.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The prospect of such a thing is ruining my life, so much so that I won't be watching our potential semi-final opponents tomorrow night - I'll be watching the Mancs, screaming for a Roma win.

To beat those scumbags in a European Cup final would be THE greatest moment of my life - bar none.

To lose to them in a final would be one of the very lowest - certainly the lowest football moment and even worse than Arsenal in 89.

I'd really rather not take the risk. It would be unbearable, absolutely unbearable.

And I haven't even mentioned the carnage that would inevitably take place off the pitch. It would be hell. Genuine carnage on the streets of Athens, in the airports and even on the ****ing planes. Chaos. We'd all be kicked out of Europe for ten years.

Please make it stop. Roma, ROMA CAN YOU HEAR ME?! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!

It'd be BRUTAL, and to be honest, out of the teams that are left...It's the only team where i can't say "We can beat them in the final". It would be a ****ing nightmare and THE most anticipated football game of all time...

it'd ruin the prospect of the trip to athens thats for sure. there's bound to be enough balloons on both sides to prevent it from being an enjoyable carefree trip.

FIFA / UEFA are praying that it's not a Scum -v- Pool final. As said above, it would be mayhem at Manc airport all the way to the streets of athens

Anyone who has ever sat/stood next to me at a game will vouch for how unbelievably passionate I am about Liverpool football club.

Every time we play the scum it is like a CL final for me, so i doubt it would feel any different to when John-O-**** scord his late winner against us the other week.

I would be more tense about how the fans would react being in Athens with each other.

The sensible decision would be to move the final to Wembley, but I can't see how you'd get around the injustice to Athens. It'd have to be some compensation package to appease the Greeks. It's such an obvious, logical thing to do that UEFA are bound to not do it.

I'm afraid you are Right. It would really kick off regardless of the Result and We'd be in Serious Trouble with UEFA

Usually if you love something you can't bear the thought of it being hurt....

I'd cry for about a week if we lost to those ***** in the final. And even worse, I'd be reminded of it for at least the next year until we won a competition over them
