Their performances last night have made the Chavs and Scum seem a lot scarier than they were before those games.

However... we beat the Chavs before, and they seemed far scarier back then. And if we get the Mancs in the final then so be it. They've beaten us twice this season. Didn't the Chavs beat us 2 or 3 times before we put them out last time?

I also think Mascherano will be vital. Ronaldo and Rooney won't get a chance to run at us... but that's looking ahead.

    Believe!

It's united v chelski I'm afraid, and utd to win. I'm even tempted to put 100 quid on it to ease the pain when they inevitably do it.

exactly the pressure was off us as everyone thought chelski would do it.

sorry we're not the team of destiny this year.

          How depressing would that be?

United v Chelsea for the league.

It's certain to be United v Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

And a United v Chelsea CL final is a possibility.

          Worst. Season. Ever.

The Chavs don't worry me as much as the Mancs.

They are one team that I don't like meeting in once off games like finals. Beating them in a final would be ecstasy, the highest of the high in cup terms, but losing, that would be a hellish experience. I was depressed for weeks when they beat us in the FA cup final, I cannot even begin to imagine what it would feel like after a CL final.

Mind you, after saying all that, if we end up in Athens, my throat is gonna be raw from roaring us on.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

How fine is the line between a great season to remember and a totally ****e season you wish you could erase MIB style? A handfull of CL games I would suggest. ****ing anything could happen either way, but which side are we on ffs? Have some faith in our lads, we've turfed Chelsea out before and we're not even certain to face Man Utd. But if we do, then we all know we're a different proposition in Europe. This negative stuff is bollocks, we can ****ing do it and we should be dreaming of number 6, not sick thinking about how others will beat us.

I don't like the tone of this thread. Tom, Feck off! The rest of you - pull yourselves together.

I'm confident of beating Chelsea as it's a two-legged affair. I'd honestly back us to beat ANYONE over two legs, especially with the 2nd leg at Anfield.

Of course if we play United it'll be a one-off game, and we're all painfully aware of how ****ing poxy they've been against us, time and time again.

                        Still....keep the faith.

We wont get past chelski, because:

                          i) they owe us one for the last semi.
ii) it's maureen's last season, and the players are doing it for him.
iii) at some point all that money has got to pay off.

                          Reason 2
if we do get to the final, we'll loose to the mancs, because:

                          i) they always beat us in big finals.
ii) it's fergie's last season, and the players are doing it for him.
iii) it's the 40th anniversary of their first european cup, this year they are the team of destiny.
iv) after their huge victory last night they have the big mo, they are the team of destiny.
                          v) they're a better team than us.

I can feel it in me waters.
                          I agree.

vi) They have Darren Fletcher and Wes Brown as first choice midfielders and Center back respectivley.

Theres no way ManU will ever meet a team as bad as Roma again. They even made Fletcher,O`Shea and Carrick look good.
Momo,Carra and Mascher would have them for breakfast.

I`m not in on this Manure played the best Football in yrs sh*te.

Liverpool will definately destroy ManU if ManU don`t have the devil`s LUCK as usual.
                              IE;
Ref sending one of our players off for very little,
Ronaldo winning penalties for blatant dives
or a Feckwit like O`Shea scoring in the last minute after we`ve had 20 shots on target to their 4 shots.

BRING ON CHELSEA AND THEN MANURE,
                              WE`LL HAVE BOTH OF THEM.
                              THIS IS OUR CUP.
