if we do get to the final, we'll loose to the mancs, because:

    i) they always beat us in big finals.
ii) it's fergie's last season, and the players are doing it for him.
iii) it's the 40th anniversary of their first european cup, this year they are the team of destiny.
iv) after their huge victory last night they have the big mo, they are the team of destiny.
    v) they're a better team than us.

I can feel it in me waters.

I`m not in on this Manure played the best Footballs in yrs sh*te.

Liverpool will definately destroy ManU if ManU don`t have the devil`s LUCK as usual.
        IE;
Ref sending one of our players off for very little,
Ronaldo winning penalties for blatant dives
or a Feckwit like O`Shea scoring in the last minute after we`ve had 20 shots on target to their 4 shots.

BRING ON CHELSEA AND THEN MANURE,
        WE`LL HAVE BOTH OF THEM.
        THIS IS OUR CUP.
        Good man!

It's certain to be United v Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

And a United v Chelsea CL final is a possibility.

            Worst. Season. Ever.
well mr hicks will just have to go out and spend a fortune to make sure the above never happens again. I am with you though Shaggy, this season could be unbearable.

Assuming we get past PSV, we've got as good a chance as anybody. That means we've got a three in four chance of not winning it so it's not really overly pessimistic to think that's what's going to happen. On the other hand though, it's not exactly an earth-shattering prediction.

What happens happens. Enjoy the ride, see how long it lasts.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

After last night's result, there's a good possibility that United will be just a tad over-confident going forward. Whoever they meet in the semis will not roll over like Roma did. Last night's result matched a 7-1 drubbing of Waterford when United were defending their 1968 European Cup title. They made it to the semi-finals that season, where they were knocked out by Milan. So, perhaps this is what is meant by "destiny".

I'm with Rafa on this one. Remember when Stevie said we wouldn't win th CL in the early rounds of 2005? Rafa's response to this was :-
"I always like to believe we can win."

Also - the mancs know that they got out of jail and sneaked that game in the last minute the other week. They know that they can't be that forunate again. They know if we play that well against them again - that we'll win.

And do you really think Chelsea aren't bothered about facing us? After beating them in the last 2 semi's we've played them? They beat us at the bridge early this season with a wonder strike from Drogba - but we missed some glorious chances that day. And then we whacked them at Anfield when the 2-0 scoreline flattered them.

So whilst we may be scared about losing to the mancs or the chavs - they are definitely equally as scared as us. Let the mind games begin.
                        Liverpool born and bred.
