    Kuyt-Hit or Miss?

    Mostly miss imo.

I think he's hugely overrated. He does alot of running around but precious little else.

Is it possible to get a really good striker for less than 20mill?

Fair play to Crouch-he's shown himself to be a much better player.

I'm afraid I'm not his biggest fan. So limited it's untrue.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

wait until next season until we can judge him.

He started off well...but he has tailed off. Signs that the league has taken its toll on him IMO.

His workrate is fantastic but he's not linking up play well at all at the moment. Rafa needs to buy two world class strikers in the summer, one to play off the main provider of goals (who could be Eto'o or Villa). Kuyt and Crouch as backup.

agree, dodgy first touch and im not impressed with what ive seen so far.
but, give him another year and we'll see how he does.
his undoubted work rate gets him away with a lot of things

For me he is a HIT. Adjusting to the prem is not easy especially if you come from a much weaker league such as the Dutch.
He's scored 11 goals already and I think there is plenty to come from him till the end of the season.
He works hard, link up well and can finish. He has proved that so far.
Two parts of his game I would like to improve on
1- his first touch lets him down sometimes.
2-he needs to be in the 18 yards box more often, sometimes a cross comes in to the opponents box and there is noone there to receive.

I have no doubt that KUYT will be a much better player next season but for now he has done reasonably well for a first year player in the prem.

Dunno. The odd man out could be Voronin in all that. I can't see him ever fitting in the team apart from our reserves.

I think he should play on top and stay there. Then he could put in quite a few goals for us.

                              So far though, MISS
