I always wonder how the **** some people know so much about lower league football. I used to watch **** loads of football but these days I can't get myself to watch anything that doesn't feature one of the best teams in Europe.

Seriously mate. Don't embarrass yourself. He is far better than Heinze, far better. Bearing in mind Ashley Cole has been out for ages this season, name a better left back in the league, Evra was immense up to january.

I distinctly remember the game against Arsenal at Ashburton earlier this year. He was the clear weaklink in their defence that day.

To be fair, how many left backs in the world can you name better than Evra? He may not be great in all areas as say a Maldini in his pomp was, but there is a dearth of quality left backs around the world at the moment.

Much as I hate to say it, Ferguson should get manager of the year. Took a team that underachieved last year and turned it into a side that have been fantastic in the league, made the FA cup final and the champions league semis, all while playing fantastic footy.

The defence from that team of the year is a joke though, they don't have the best record in the league, and their ENTIRE back 5 is in???

As someone already said they have conceded a lot of late meaningless goals. Vidic and Rio have been immense. Conceded 0 twice against LFC this year and one dodgy corner against Chelsea. United had the best defence when votes were taken.
