I'm one of Rafa's biggest fans but this has been dreadful man management.

Whether rafa's man management skills are great is up for debate, but i dont think the Dudek situation is an example of poor man management.

Rafa's just picking the vastly superior keeper.

I feel sorry for Jerzy, he hasn't been treated fairly at all. When Reina went through that horrendous patch of form at the start of the season - let's be honest folks, he cost us a few points - Jerzy should have been given a chance. What's the point in having another keeper for backup/competition if you're never going to use him?

Against Arsenal in those two cup games, I don't blame him for his lack of concentration - I'm sure motivation was long gone at that stage.

I don't feel sorry at all, the guy earns more money than most of us will ever see, and it is hardly "being a slave" when all he has to do is do some training 5 hours a day and then sit on a bench for two nights a week. I am sure that his medals he won with us and the life we have been able to give him should be enough to satisfy him when he looks in the mirror. Not as if his life is toiling in a field for food is it?

Throughout the season the guy has been whining that he isn't playing instead of knuckling down and actually improving himself, forcing his way into the first team and that is exactly the reason why he has had no chance
of getting in the team. Rafa doesn't seem the kind of manager who would take that sort of behaviour and would rather stick to the players who are committed to improving themselves if they are not in the first team, none of this primadonna bull****.

It is all about the club and moving forward, not oweing favours to certain people because they are nice, or are people who have given good service to us in the past. It is about who can do what they can to improve. You don't see Sami bleating on about things like this in the media every 5 minutes, he is a true legend.

Why does Dudek feel it's necessary to rock the boat before a CL semi-final?
Ok - he wants out, but why go to the press? Why now?
If this is true, that he did do this, he has gone down in my estimation.

Also, regarding the poster saying that Reina should have been dropped for Dudek earlier on in the season - I disagree. A goalkeeper thrives on the confidence of his coach, and the worst thing for the club would have been for a situation to develop where we have two candidates with an equal chance of holding on to the number 1 jersey - this doesn't work.
Dudek was not the answer, and his form has since improved to have proven Rafa made the right decision.

Sorry mate, but he can get to ****. He's had all year to moan about this and he chooses the most important part of the season to say it. Not only that but he chooses the word "slave" to illurstrate his plight. I'm not PC enough to go overboard on this, but after all the cash LFC have ploughed into his account you'd think there'd be a bit of respect to the fans and his pals at the club.

Just think, that if he did, he could have picked a better time to come out with that drivel. He hardly needs a paper to let people know he's available. There are other ways of doing it without revealing splits in our camp.
