AC Milan midfielder Kaka is relishing the chance to avenge for his side's Istanbul misery when they face Liverpool in this season's Champions League final.
Milan booked their place alongside the Reds in Athens with a brilliant display at the San Siro last night as they ended Manchester United's hopes of setting up the first ever all English final in the competition.
Kaka admits the Italians played the perfect game against United and is now looking forward to the possibility of gaining revenge on Liverpool following their penalty shoot-out triumph in Istanbul two years ago.
"We have played a perfect game," he said. "We knew against a team like Manchester United that we needed to do something special and we have achieved it with the help of our fans.
"I am extremely happy with the way the team has played, we were the best side on the pitch and we deserved to go through.
"The final against Liverpool will be a unique game. I sincerely hope it will be different from that of 2005."
Liverpool and Milan will each receive more than 20,000 tickets for the final on May 23 at the 72,000-capacity Athens Olympics Stadium.
UEFA communications director William Gaillard said there will be a big fan park in the Greek capital which would cater for supporters without tickets.
Gaillard said: "We know that however many tickets we provide it would never be enough - we could probably sell out a stadium with a million seats!
"Our advice to fans is always not to travel without a ticket because we do not want them to be exploited by ticket touts, but of course people are free to travel if they wish.
"If they just want to savour the Athens experience then they can use the fan-park in downtown Athens."
He said UEFA were not expecting problems between the two sets of fans.
He added: "There is no history of hostility between the fans and it gives us an advantage that we have the experience of the two sets of fans in a final in similar circumstances two years ago."
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
