I would be very interested to see what Big Sam did given the resources. I think he struggled to evolve their style, but part of that has been that since Okocha left it has been very hard for Bolton to recruit a top class, ball playing, midfielder, they don't have the money or the glamour to attract people with big reputations and there are few without who would withstand the PL.
