One of my favourite players already.

IF we play Milan in the final, Kaka won't get anything like the time and space he was afforded in the 1st half in Istanbul - not with Masher around.

He really grew under my skin and I'm pleased for him that he got out of West Ham to be playing in the CL final... Because he deserves it! He's been immense throughout the whole time he is with us and I really hope we can sign him permanently! Don't think there will be any problems though.

      Mascher was immense!

Must be in the top 3 defensive midfielders in Europe today?

      Well done lad!!

We must sign him permanently however I believe unless we have a fixed figure to buy him for then his price will have gone through the roof after last night.
I feel so proud of the lad he's gone from West Ham reserves and relegation battles to playing amazing football and being in the CL final and he's done it with ease, not looking out of place at all, if we get him he will be immense next season.

So so glad he didn't get booked last night.

Mascherano is another one of Rafa's super signings. He has signed Xabi and soon Mascherano for the same price that Chelsea paid for Essien.
Yeah, because MOMO is a left winger!!!!!

Totally different player to the one we saw at the hammers... credit must be given to Rafa for this

Eth, are you going to keep that avatar? It's class mate but it's hard to read your stuff from laughing!!
Eh? What game were you watching? yeah maybe his passing was wayward in the first few minutes but once he got into his rhythm his passing was intelligent- a mixture of short, simple passes as well as Superb long range passing and switching flanks passing to the outlet players...

He get`s more stick on here than he deserves.

Zenden put in a huge amount of effort, and while I'm not a fan of his, he never stopped running and really helped the cause by netting the first penalty.

Masher was MOM - one word - Awesome.

Which is why we need to sign him up permanently ASAP.

the amount of MEGA slides he put in to destroy chelsea last night was almost unfair on them. they didnt stand a chance when this guy put his mind to it, he was all over them, similar to makelele who was class tonight aswell

Our key planner for the final

                              is Javier Mascherano.

I think he'll have the task of keeping Kaka quiet, and i believe he will!

Interesting hearing all the plaudits that Gattuso was quite rightly getting last night for shackling Rooney, Ronaldo & Co but I think Mascherano does a similar job for us just as effectively. The media clearly must think that there is no life beyond the Premiership because Javier is still being judged on his bizarre time at West Ham, not his excellent performances beforehand (especially the World Cup) or since where he has been superb for us. Rafa clearly rates him above Xabi for the big matches...
