I agree with this, but IMO The Premier League is a Far sterner test of a Team's ability. You need to be consistent throughout the season and lately cant afford many slips to win it. The fact that 3 English sides made the Last 4 in Europe clearly shows that the standard in the EPL is far superior to any other League in Europe and probably the World.

Because it's been so long since we've won it I feel that it should be our Priority in the Next few seasons

They were lucky this season, as all championship winning teams get some slice of luck in a season but they deserved it. But watching Chelsea play with 10 men yesterday, I feel that they would have been deserving winners too. What a fantastic effort by José's men.

i work with a lot of mancs and i had a bit of a chuckle about the milan game- and they have been incredibly bitter about us getting to athens. but as i have walked around the office today and congratulated each one i have seen.

i feel like puking but i feel its the only thing to do and maintain our dignity.

us winning number 6 will be a bigger acheievment anyway and when that happens i will sit back with a quiet look of satisfaction that they are forever in our shadow

It's just a sport in the end. And credit where it's due, they deserve it for having that winning mentality, which is still missing from Rafa's men.

They deserved it this year. Amazing to think they were 1 point better than us last season and we spent more in the Summer. Think it shows that however much Rafa gets in the next few months it is spending it in the right areas and on the right players that is vital.

I think it really shows what squad stability can do. Fergie has been evolving this team for 4 or 5 years and he started with a team that was challenging for the title. Much of Uniteds improvement this season has come from the added strength that the improved form of Vidic game them at the back - allowing them to play two basically attacking midfielders in Carrick and Scholes ahead of them.

They will sign Hargreaves and a striker at least this summer and be stronger again as a squad. Hopefully we will be building from a better position too, with players who are at least used to Rafas style already in the squad for each position in the team. Obviously we have to spend wisely but I think that with less work needed on the squad and more money we can make much smaller gambles.

Hopefully next yr Giggs and Scholes will show the effect of their age,Ronaldo will not carry them when they are playing terrible and SG and Xabi will return to their usual form after a slow season for both.We`ll challenge them next yr.
