BENITEZ IS STUCK LIKE GLUE TO BOLO

LIVERPOOL boss Rafael Benitez has admitted he is emotionally torn over the future of Bolo Zenden.
The Spaniard will recruit several top-class stars using the money invested by new American owners to try and win the Premiership next season.
That would suggest the curtain call at Anfield for Zenden, now a peripheral figure who is also out of contract next month.

Samuel Eto'o, Deco, Raul, Daniel Alves and Arjen Robben are all on Liverpool's wanted list, while Feyenoord and Ajax are interested in taking Zenden home to Holland.
Benitez said: "Bolo knows my idea, I know his.
"The first thing he said to me was: 'I want to win the Champions League Final now. It's the only thing that is important'.
"One coach, one very famous manager of his, said Bolo was the glue for his squad. Bolo was always there between the players, trying to keep them together whether they were young, new to the club, whether they were French, English or Spanish as he speaks a lot of languages.
"He's the glue. I think it's a very good definition for him. He's a fantastic professional, a fantastic teammate and a good player."
Skipper Steven Gerrard insisted Liverpool have massive ambition, starting with reclaiming their European crown by beating AC Milan on May 19.
Gerrard said: "We may have been short in the Premiership this season, but I think now everyone realises we are a very serious team in Europe. It is a question of finishing off this job - and then progressing from there."

I'm personally not a big fan of Bolo, but I remember McClaren was saying something similar about him, great person to have in the dressing room if your team has a lot of players from abroad.
