I won`t call it an insult, more an observation.
He`s a good player, but not great.
I also find it hard to belive that Rafa would insult a player that started both CL semi-finals, and could start in the final.

I thought he was good in the CL games against Chelsea. Probably my MOM in the first leg.

He seems to be good for calming the team and encouraging a neater short passing game. Not good enough to start regularly but certainly not deserving of the scorn he get son here at times.

Agree. What Rafa likes in him is his steadiness. He normally won't be doing silly things on a football pitch and with that, he brings a certain stability that Rafa appreciates. Now though, he's supposed to be an attacking outlet playing from the left, but he clearly won't bring us much of that.

Apparently so. And we're also playing Milan on the same day as the FA Cup final too...

I like Bolo Zenden though, i have to admit.

Agreed. Don't know if anyone saw this, but there was this situation at the 2nd period of extra time where the legs of most of our players were all but jelly, he got the ball at the chav's half and trudded to the left flank and towards the goal line shielding the ball and drawing a foul from Mikel. That is where he got that knock, and he limped along for the rest of the match. If it was Cisse, Baros, Gonzalez or any younger player, they would have try to get a cross in or go for goal. That is experience which i appreciates. No hot-heads allowed in such impt ties.

                  I can not agree.

He had the ball more than any of the others, but he constantly wasted it. I was continually screaming at the telly with frustration when he got it.

Then again the rest of team didn't exactly cover themselves in glory either.
                  Oh I don't know.

                    That's only because you're Irish.

                      Duff or Robben?

                      None of the above.

Their time has come, been & gone, forever - especially where our club is concerned.

Bolo to score the second goal in Athens, when we defy the odds and come back from 3-0 down, in the greates CL final of all time (well since 2005)

But when he speaks on the pitch he speaks sh*te. Bolo is rubbish.

A team is more than the sum of its parts. It is a concern that in Robbie and Bolo going thismay prove detrimental to the team as it may effect morale adversely.

Aye. Especially if poor old Sami goes too.
                              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Zenden takes far too much stick on here. The truth is that at his peak Zenden was top notch. You don't play 50 odd times for holland if you're no use. Trouble is, we got him 2 or 3 years too late. He's past his best and hasn't got that burst of speed he once had. His touch etc is still very good. People had a go at him after the 1st leg against Chelsea but he was being played out of position. He hasn't been a winger for 4 or 5 seasons now. For a free transfer he was excellent business and obviously contributes very well off the field.

I'm sure he'll probably go in the summer but if he does, I think we should thank him for a pretty decent contribution during his time at LFC.
