Comparing Rick Parry to Tony Blair. ffs some people need to inhabit the real world away from the internet!
Not every fancard holder ST holder a/ belongs to a forum b/ uses the internet.
Its a bit rich some people wanting Parry to resign when those self same 'fans' referred to Peter Crouch as a piece of dog faeces.

it stinks that loyal reds and yes that does include me dont even get a sniff of a ticket neither do one of the countless lads who i know go every home game and a few aways yet some bluenose in a factory gets offered one through the club now that is wrong also should working at the club mean you get 3 tickets?Oh I say his vision there was lovely

what i find ridiculous is that if a large amount of tickets did go to corporates (which by the way is around the same as the alocation that went out in 2005) and ppl are hacked off about it, what are they going to say when the corporate presence is increased at the new anfield, which is something ppl have been banging on about for ages to get the club more money.
Yes we're happy to take your cash to buy new players, but when it comes to finals then your money means ****? There has to be a trade off somewhere doesn't there.
Same applies to if the club upped ST's to 40k then whats everyone going to do when we have 40k of season ticket holders and still only a measly 17k to go aroundThomas Hicks Senior

Exactly! That pretty much says it all.Originally posted by RedJedi View PostIf there was nothing dodgy he could shut us all the **** up by proving it.
Just cos he's never broken it down before doesn't mean he can't now.
There is not the same level of suspicion and hurt as there has been before.
I genuinely feel very sad over this.

yes, an evertonian just offered me one for 800. and he was being kind cos its someone elses ticket and he's pressured him down from 2 grand to 800. but i still can't afford that.Originally posted by rodo View Postit stinks that loyal reds and yes that does include me dont even get a sniff of a ticket neither do one of the countless lads who i know go every home game and a few aways yet some bluenose in a factory gets offered one through the club now that is wrong also should working at the club mean you get 3 tickets?

I know what you're saying but I'd happily be losing out to another week in week out fan. But those fans who are forced to go to touts or stay at home are not, in the main, missing out to let week in week out fans in.Originally posted by Morphorino View Postwhat i find ridiculous is that if a large amount of tickets did go to corporates (which by the way is around the same as the alocation that went out in 2005) and ppl are hacked off about it, what are they going to say when the corporate presence is increased at the new anfield, which is something ppl have been banging on about for ages to get the club more money.

I'd love it if everyone said **** your tout prices, stayed here at home, and the atmos was ****. Then the club may realise what they're missing out on.

When I was in the queue for my ticket this morning the people I spoke to all said that they actually felt a bit ashamed and embarassed by getting them, me included. One lad even said he isnt gonna tell anyone he has got a ticket. All this bollocks is actually taking the shine over what should be a great occasion.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

i couldnt agree more. Im not a match goer on any sort of regular basis so i dont understand how it all works but surely if you think you will want to be involved with getting hold of final tickets at the end of the year - a fan should get some form of loyalty card and register every game he goes to - in all competitions - then you can rank the games in importance and come out with a points total at the end of the year - then those with the largest points tallys get the tickets. I dont see how you can argue with this?Originally posted by alunevans View Postthis has been my point all along. why should myself and, say, PLY who have been to all 6 AND all the league games be treated equally to your mate. its really not right and the club should have bent over backwards to reward the fans who have been to 6 CL's AND have been week in week out in the league.

Don't let it get you down, mate. If you had the required criteria then you deserve a ticket, no two ways about it. People knew the rules at the start of the season.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!
