I don't believe that a Benitez squad actually works on a "Match fit" level. Reading an interview with Paco recently he said that the players are trained to a level beyond Match fit, Olympic athlete level if you will. That way by pushing the players beyond "match fit" to an even higher level after an injury they have more energy during a game and playing a match is actually easy for them.Originally posted by Xavier View PostIt would be a joke and a travesty if he starts in the final. If he does, then there needs to be serious questions asked of Rafa's judgement.
Absolutely ludicrous this is. Do any of you think he's match-fit? Jesus.
I've got to say Kewell looks very lean at the moment. If he's the best man for the job then why not play him? Not playing him doesn't make sense to me. If your in the business of winning matches you put out the team that's best for business.......no?Last edited by Sebastian Rooks; 12-05-07, 11:59 PM."If you can't support us when we lose or draw, don't support us when we win." - Bill Shankly

You can't even compare the 2. One is pure class the other is a useless hack.Originally posted by Reece View PostWould you say the same if it was gerrard who had been out all season and was coming back to fitness now?
One has being with us since he first played in the EPL the other hasn't.
