Alves is a 100% winner, like Rooney, that is why he'll go nuts sometimes. We need more that type of players in the team to fire the team up. In some games we go to sleep from the start and Alves would give us the missing energy in that games.
    Good summary!

I wonder what he makes of this

      Villa pwned him badly there

Seriously though, the other thing that annoys me about him and a lot of other Sevilla players is that he'll always go in with his elbows flinging everywhere. i.e he'll always hit other players with them in their face etc. Maybe it'll be less frustrating when he's on the team I support though.

We will have to wait and see as usual. La Ligas ends June 17th so it will be a lot of speculation before then.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think Alves is our most likely signing on the right, unless the specualtion about Cisse in a swap deal with imao is correct. I do wonder where that story came from, Cisse would probably do well in Portugal aswell.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

He says that the team comes first and that he always works for the best of the team. Two trophies would be excellent and one good. The main goal is to qualify for the CL.

When asked about his future with Sevilla he says that he will concentrate on the games and talk about that later.

He praised Ramos a lot, Sevillas manager.

He talks about the UEFA Cup final in Glasgow and says that it's a fantastic archievment to have reached the final two years in a row.

Agree with you 18-20mil for a right back is crazy, i'd be amazed if the chavs were to spend that on a defender!
