Everyone should stop criticising the team!! They played one of the best halves of football ever couldn't score and then we copped a cheap goal on the stroke of halftime!! Milan bar 2005 are the best defenders of a lead and we just weren't good enough in the second half!!!!

    Bring on 07/08!!!

Im not the only one then. I seriously was surprised at the lack of songs chants and Atmosphere, i heard the Milan fans more, which was strange.

The stadium was probably full of frauds i guess

I said it would cost us...

        ...and it has.

I'm so proud of our lads tonight: we were easily the better side, it was so evident Milan were there for the taking, but once again our lack of quality finishers on the pitch cost us.

We need to learn from this, buy quality strikers, and be braver in our attacking selections.

We stole it from them 2 years ago, they stole it from us tonight.

If we buy well in the summer we'll be there again: I can feel it.

Rome 2009, and Wembley 2010 - who says history doesn't repeat itself.

        YNWA.

Proud of the team tonight, we bossed the 1st half, lucky goal for Milan.

Credit to Milan, they did enough

We will be in more finals during the next few years and we will win some of them.

                Look forward not back, YNWA

Cricticising the crowd is a bit barmy IMO.

Look at the thousands of fans who went to Athens, some ripped off by touts, some sold fake tickets, some just there for the atmosphere.

We have the best fans in the world and it's opposition players who back that claim up.
We could have filled that stadium twice over, the fact that we got less than one third of the allocation is a ****ing disgrace.

I'm proud of our team - we were a good 2-1 defeated team if that makes any sense. We just didn't look like scoring all night despite looking the more dominant team.

Sadly it's amazing what one single defeat can do, win tonight and a fantastic season, lose and we end up with no silverware, 21 points behind the manc champs and out of the other cups early on - bad season.

Fair enough, but we controlled the game and should have won.

The only way to know would be to ask someone who went to both finals.
