I think Parry, being an accountant, spends too long discussing the minute details of how and when payments will be made, how the signing will affect the wages bill etc etc

Everyone seems to have the knives out for him........... and with some justification.................. I remember a year or 2 ago he was on holiday for 3 weeks and all transfer activity came to a standstill................. FFS Delegate, every other business does it
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

This quote from Rafa says allot.

Benitez added: "I’’m tired of us talking and talking. We talk and talk, but we never finish. Talking to players we want to sign for one, two or even six months, then losing them, bothers me greatly. I want things done.

What the hell are they talking to a player for six months for?

In his interview on .tv Paco has ago at the establishment of the club when he says " but they say we have done it this way for years"

and then goes on about moving with the times............ the old ways are not always the best.

I think Rafa & Paco want the entire system at LFC brought into the 21st century

Not if the people at the top dont listen to Rafa and his team ...

Like someone said earlier, if these things don't get sorted soon, Rafa will go and that will be a sad day for LFC ...

Mascherano: Liverpool move for Tevez is possible
              tribalfooball.com - May 24, 2007

Javier Mascherano knows his former West Ham teammate Carlos Tevez is talking about a move to Liverpool.

The Reds midfielder revealed to *** ***: "It's possible he will come. I would love to have him by my side as a player and a friend.

"After managing to keep West Ham in the Premiership, he has a lot of possibilities to move to a big club in Europe.

"When we talk we avoid discussing moves but I know he's talking about a probable move to Liverpool. He would be a barbarian!"

I've seen a quote in the telegraph today and Rafa said that a striker is not his priority !

'A striker is not a priority," he said. "Kuyt and Crouch can score goals. Andrei Voronin is coming from Bayer Leverkusen. We need to improve in other areas. We have targets. I'm not sure about how many, exactly. It depends if we get big offers for other players here. It's not about one player scoring 20 goals. We need more players scoring 10 to 15 each season. What happens if you spend £40 million on one striker and he gets injured?"

Veronin's best mate isn't he? Which could possibly explain that signing.

We need to sign this quality of player up now so that their price doesnt rise, other clubs come in for them and so that they can bed in with the rest of the squad ASAP.

I am fully behind Rafa in what he said- I am still so angry we lost that game it's beyond belief. I just hope the poeple that need to listen do so & act upon it cos if we lose Rafa we are ****ed.
                            3rd place. Worst champions ever.
