Momo to Barca/ Malouda to join

    From SKY:

    Barca eyeing Sissoko
By Patrick Haond - Created on 25 May 2007

According to L'Equipe, Barcelona are closely tracking Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko.

Sissoko's future at Liverpool is shrouded in doubt following the signings of Javier Mascherano and Gremio starlet Lucas.

Barcelona could be keen on the Mali international, who is unlikely to have any qualms about returning to La Liga.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have reportedly joined the list of clubs interested in Lyon's French winger Florent Malouda.

Arsenal and Chelsea have both previously shown a desire to sign Malouda, but Juventus and The Reds now head the chase.

Malouda has a contract until 2011 at Lyon so Rafa Benitez is likely to have to pay in the region of €20million (£13.5million) to land his man.

    Maestro's right again eh?

Malouda doesn't strike me as being as technically gifted as I would like a new winger of ours to be but thinking about it he is still ****ing light years better than most wingers we have.

But if Arsenal are chasing him, I can't see him coming here.

No, but I don't think he'll cut it in England.

I know what you mean BUT, he's a regular there, Cisse and Diomede weren't.

And, it could be ONE of a number of options Rafa is looking after.

I don't think he'll be the solution too. He's 27 and he isn't a better player than Kewell.

That depends on what Henry does IMO.
If he leaves ot could easily be seen as Arsenal are going backwards.

He's a good LW. Can use both feet and can also head a ball. Scores goals to.

On 20 May 2007, he was awarded French Ligue 1 Player of the Year ahead of Johan Elmander, Seydou Keita, Abdul Kader Keita.[1] after helping Lyon retained the French Ligue 1 title, contributing 8 goals and 5 assists.

According to several reports, Lyon's Chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has already given a green light for Malouda to leave should any club made a reasonable bid. This may sparks a speculation that several clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus are ready to cash in on the left winger.
