Yep, I'd prefer a younger player that's all.

I can't think of many available wingers bette than a fully fit Kewell, but Malouda and Kewell competing along with Leto would be spot on. Plus if we mess up on the RW, Kewell is capable of filling in there in an injury crisis and Malouda on the left and Kewell on the right wouldn't be to bad.

        Like Leto?
Its time to buy someone with experience, he's served his time in the French league, played in the champions league as well as a world cup final. He's not some young french lad who'd struggle with adapting he's a family man who would have no trouble settling. He aint lightweight either.

Malouda's far from the perfect solution but he'd still be a definite step in the right direction. He's not technically brilliant but he does have great pace and will beat people given a little bit of space. Very hard working player from what I've seen too.

But from what Rafa has been saying I thought we were looking for the best in that position, proven world class quality ... Maybe Rafa feels Harry can cut it next season and Malouda pushing him for his place.

I wouldnt say no. He has looked mpressive each time ive seen him.

also if Maestro has nailed this one does that make him the number 1 insider?

Who is the best? Maybe your opinion is different to Rafa's?

Everyone wanks themselves silly over Ribery yet Malouda is the one named player of the year out there.

I dont know too much about him dont tend to take much notice of Fench players unless they are over here these days

Does Malouda score a lot of goals??

Maestro has been spot on in the past. I think he revealed Fowler signing back on KT last year.

11 in 33 starts and 8 subs appearances this season

Maybe rafa thinks he is the best LW available for his system. We mentioned other LW but maybe Malouda has the best chance of adapting physically and mentally than a player like Quaresma or Silva.

Yes, thank **** his opinion counts more than me.

It's just that Malouda hasn't impressed me more than being a good player. As I said, probably Rafa feels that Harry can give us that edge next season and Malouda is a back up. Harry can score goals.

As for Malouda being player of the year in France, it's a poor league mate.

8 goals and 5 assists in the league, hence being named french league player of the season. Scored a cracker in that crappy friendly at Old Trafford - Man U v World XI or something.
