I can't say whether Malouda would be right for us or not because I've never paid any attention to him.
What are his strebgths and weaknesses?
Have a look on Youtube like the rest of us
In all honesty he seemed a tricky enough player in the world cup, but he's no Quaresma. Similar winger to Simao really, more about end product and hard work than being a show pony such as Quaresma. If that sounds bad, I assure you it aint. He's fast, can cross a ball and can shoot with both feet. As you'd expect from a french international he can also tackle.
So a good signing, but don't expect edge of your seat.

he's got pace and a good football brain as well as bags of skill. he's pretty tough as well, doesn't let the physical stuff put him off his game. he's got a decent shot on him and his service is generally pretty good
that said he doesn't have much of a right foot and he is not very direct

I've seen him score with his right foot, but they could have been flukes? Can't remember if he can cross with it though. Wouldn't say he was particularly skillfull either
He's very quick, pretty decent dribbler, gets into the box more than any of our wide players. Puts in a lot of hard work, and seems a smart player to me. Wasn't enthused initially but the more I think about it the more I think he'd be a good signing. He isn't technically brilliant by any means but he has sound control and the kind of direct approach that fares well in the Prem.

he's not a two footed player by any means and isn't particularly strong with his right, but he does use it, which is more than can be said for alot of wingers
i think he is very skillful, that's one of the first things i noticed about him, i'm surprised you don't think so
Even though he is a good player I really don't like him. He is a **** and he dives. I would prefer that we didn't sign him, but there's no denying he has some ability. Would be pretty handy down the left.
I haven't seen the most of him though, only really in CL games and French NT occasionally and I don't really pay special attention.
How good is his crossing? And does he maintain width? These are very important attrbutes imo.
If it were my choice I personally wouldn't sign him but I guess we'll see what happens.

Thats exactly what im thinking.
He isnt all tricks, flicks and stepovers.
He is fast, direct, attacks the edges of the box, and has a nice first touch...which often takes him clear of the defenders. He would do well in the Prem.
I would be all for this signing.
