Bascombe sensationalies everything, DIC were perfect, DIC were rubbish, T+G are legends, T+G are rubbish. I trust him when he says we're after so and so but he does my head in when his articles are like this.

They've certainly backed up their words but trying to improve the new stadium so lets hope they do it in the transfer market and im optimistic they will
    I`m also optimistic,too many on here are believing journalistic C R A P.

DICs would have been better, but hey, that's life I guess.

G&H have to put their money where their mouth is, they will look stupid and foolish if they prove to be no trousers.

As I said in a post yesterday, Hicks' closeness with Bush worries me (irrelevant to the transfer kitty, but it worries me all the same)

not knowing how it all works over there but this could equate to consistant top four finishes for us so,not really good enough.Anyway I hope I'm wrong and they put up the dosh but I'm apprhensive to say the least.

I wouldn't say that I'm apprehensive but the optimism I had going into the summer has certainly faded somewhat.

None of us know what's happening one way or the other and until we start making moves in the transfer market we won't know just how much Hicks and Gillett are going to back Rafa.

To be honest I think it's far to early to start to criticise anyone. Rafa is away, the Spanish League is still to finish and Rafa will be happy once he gets the deals tied up early in pre season.
Which is still 3-4 weeks away yet.
By the way just to balance the argument check this out

Proves more interesting and positive reading.

I completely agree. I think I'm just getting bad vibes from the internet contingent of supporters who appear to be low on Prozac.

As opposed to PR crap spouted by our saviours perhaps and the journalistic crap produced around the time of the takeover?

It's too early to tell exactly what's crap and what isn't. I think it's reasonable to assume most of it is though.

As opposed to the good vibes from those high on E?

                See above.

                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I have to say I think Bascombe has been a bit lazy and slightly sensationalist with this story.

Withdrawal symptoms. everyone going when we all need to be Fonzies

That does make a bit of a difference.

                                No problem at all.

Obviously I withdraw my rather acerbic response (but reserve the right to use it later when AnfieldArse gets too gloomy).
