DICs would have been better, but hey, that's life I guess.
G&H have to put their money where their mouth is, they will look stupid and foolish if they prove to be no trousers.
As I said in a post yesterday, Hicks' closeness with Bush worries me (irrelevant to the transfer kitty, but it worries me all the same)

not knowing how it all works over there but this could equate to consistant top four finishes for us so,not really good enough.Anyway I hope I'm wrong and they put up the dosh but I'm apprhensive to say the least.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostThey have been in the play offs 4 of the 5 latest seasons, winning their division twice. I wouldn't say that I'm apprehensive but the optimism I had going into the summer has certainly faded somewhat.Originally posted by PoolG View Postnot knowing how it all works over there but this could equate to consistant top four finishes for us so,not really good enough.Anyway I hope I'm wrong and they put up the dosh but I'm apprhensive to say the least.
None of us know what's happening one way or the other and until we start making moves in the transfer market we won't know just how much Hicks and Gillett are going to back Rafa.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

To be honest I think it's far to early to start to criticise anyone. Rafa is away, the Spanish League is still to finish and Rafa will be happy once he gets the deals tied up early in pre season.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostI wouldn't say that I'm apprehensive but the optimism I had going into the summer has certainly faded somewhat.

Which is still 3-4 weeks away yet.
By the way just to balance the argument check this out
Proves more interesting and positive reading.

I completely agree. I think I'm just getting bad vibes from the internet contingent of supporters who appear to be low on Prozac.Originally posted by redblood View PostTo be honest I think it's far to early to start to criticise anyone. It's too early to tell exactly what's crap and what isn't. I think it's reasonable to assume most of it is though.

See above.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

No problem at all.Originally posted by Quinncy View PostSorry for any misunderstanding.
Obviously I withdraw my rather acerbic response (but reserve the right to use it later when AnfieldArse gets too gloomy).
