very pleased about this, looks a good lad from what i've seen of him, and as much as i hate bolton, they do usually finish pretty high up the table, so it'll be good experience for him.

Wonder if Sammy will be looking totake any more players from us, could be a decent little deal there

Seems like Bolton are happy to do business with us now that Sammy is there..............

All the "Soton" fans around here are very disappointed he's not signing for them permanently (although anyone with any sense could see it was very unlikely to happen).
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I wonder if Sammy will change their style of play to be less route one and more 'pass and move'.

Our centre positions are overcrowded as it is. Stevie, Xabi, Masher, Momo, Lucas are all vying for the 1st eleven, and they are all still very young, esp. the latter 3. No chance for any of our academy products. Jay Spearing to go next.

dont forget the new rules for the CL that require you have a few players come through your accademy set up etc, so we'll have to sort something out

I think this is a great move for the player and for LFC - he will get experience in the premier league - I remember reading somewhere that Rafa has structured the loans deals differently than from the past which ensures that our lads play more or Bolton are fined extra cash.

Excellent news. He was never going to be involved with us this season apart from a few games in the Carling so if he impresses in pre-season then he might get in the first XI and surprise a few people.

Definitely going to have a keen eye on Bolton this season now. Would love to see Sammy do well. LFC manager in 10yrs with Carra as assistant...
