Got nothing whatsoever against Benni, seems like a nice guy.
I have to question this purchase though. If he was free, then fair enough. But to pay £4m for a squad player just doesn't make any sense. I would have put that money to better use getting a top notch quality winger in.
I was hoping that we weren't gonna make squad purchases any more.

Good player, won't deny I would've loved us to sign another hugely promising talent a la the Torres signing, but I am pleased with this all the same. Experienced, good eye for a pass, scores goals, knows the Prem, is versatile, and gives us more depth when it comes to creativity from midfield. At £4m I'm pretty happy.Like blood on ironComment

Quality signing....a definite improvement on Zenden and a decent like for like swap for Garcia. He's got skill, flair and creativity and notches a fair few. Ive been impressed with him every time ive seen him.
