Possibilities mate. If Torres plays furthest forwards, I'd expect Crouch to play.
If torres plays behind, Kuyt wil play.

Decent buy, unlikely he's gonna be a regular but don't see how anyone could really complain, basically a replacement for both zenden and Garcia. Decent price, decent player no complaints - ......next

4 mill is a good price indeed, if we would have been pushed into a corner and had to pay 6-7 mill + like for crouch and bells i would have been disapointed. it's simular to the amount garcia went for. good buisness. but we still need a quality winger to add to our squad...

The main thing I remember about Benayoun is looking at the player ratings for a match in a Sunday paper and he got 10...stuck in my mind as very unusual to get a mark like that...maybe he'll be good after all, £4 mill not too much for someone used to playing in the Premiership

Best not to think about that. Good player, good squad addition. Not the big world star we all want obviously but a solid performer who gives us cover for a few positions. With him on board and Babel seemingly on the way this is one happy Red.

His age doesn't matter as he can easily continue playing well into his 40's.

                            Liverpool close to Benayoun deal
                            Yossi Benayoun
Benayoun has been at West Ham for two seasons
Midfielder Yossi Benayoun is set to seal a summer switch to Liverpool, BBC Sport understands.

The West Ham playmaker and Israel international has long been linked with a move to Anfield and a £4m transfer will be finalised on Wednesday.

Reds manager Rafael Benitez has made no secret of his admiration for the 25-year-old who he has been tracking since the end of the season.

"It's clear he'd like to come and he's a player I like," said the Spaniard.

Benayoun, Israel's national captain, moved to Upton Park from Racing Santander in a £2.5m deal in 2005.

He has played 72 games for the Hammers and scored eight goals.

The clubs have already done business this summer with striker Craig Bellamy moving to the capital from Merseyside in a £7.5m deal.

I believe the BBC. They are a National Institution and I willingly pay my TV licence fee....
