Excellent signing for £4m.
He is a player that can decide games. He has probably been West Hams best player the last seasons.
I would compere him to Joe Cole and not that much worse than him.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

You qualified your point that Chelsea, Manure and Arsenal weren't chasing his signature which means you are implying that means he is ****. Well none of the other three were chasing Hargreaves or Nani or Anderson, or Lucas, etc etc. Just because we are the only ones who went in for him doesn't automatically make him ****e.Originally posted by Infadel View PostThat's got nothing at all to do with it. The point is that Benayoun is an average squad player and we should be setting our standard higher than him.

I can't believe some of the negative comments about Benayoun...
Although Benayoun is very skilful, he is the captain of a decent Israeli national team ahead of players like Tal and Ben Haim, which shows he is a team player and not just a 'fancy dan'.
I think getting him for £4m is excellent business as it's probably less than we got for Luis Garcia who, although I was sorry to see him go, is 3 - 4 years older and only had a year left on his contract.
Rafa proved at Valencia that winning the league requires consistency and a squad of very good players with a few great players not a team of stars and primadonnas. There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Mr. Pink: Look, I ordered coffee. Now we've been here a long ****ing time and she's only filled my cup three times. When I order coffee, I want it filled *six* times.Originally posted by Frodo View PostHe reminds me of Steve Buscemi

Mr. Blonde: Six times. Well, what if she's too ****ing busy?
Mr. Pink: The words "too ****ing busy" shouldn't be in a waitress's vocabulary.
Nice Guy Eddie: Excuse me, Mr. Pink, but I think the last ****ing thing you need is another cup of coffee.Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

My son Foster is a fan of soccer. He was a goaltender. His brother was a defenseman.
