Torres and Babel should provide that extra bit of spark, flair, pace, unpredictability that we've lacked the past season or two.

I think that squad is the best we've had for a long time.

Maybe one extra top quality attacking midfielder/winger next summer to complete the jigsaw.

not overly excited by any means but he is a different type of player to what we have at the club. Plus he keeps the ball a lot more often than Garcia ever did.

My question is will he ever be considered a first team player? Will he make himself undroppable? I doubt it. He's another tool in the tinklers armoury. I just hope he's sharpened and ready to go when required.

£4m is a good price for him. I know he's not the superstar signing some would have hoped for but the lad's a decent player. If wecan sign Babel aswell it has been a very good summer IMHO.

You missed off Lucas from there who by all accounts is some player. Also the young argies Leto and Insua plus the plethora of other youngsters who'll no doubt be pushing for squad places in the next year or two.

I'd be happy with Babel plus a decent back up centre half to complete our summer spending.

His first touch and passing is very good. One of the best in the prem. Also like Ronaldo in the way that the ball is stuck to his feet. Great little player for 4m especially considering Koumas went for 5.3m.

With Torres, Babel, Voronin, Torres and Yossi, we are getting players who are very comfortable with the ball, therefore achieveing Rafa's main objective on the pitch: Control.

2 young unexperienced players that have yet to even meet a PL defender, never mind get past one.

Whereas scum can pass the ball left, right or centre to do that, and they are possibly adding Tevez.

Just not quite there - yet.
