Otherwise, a good performance from all the lads.
Me too. He needs to shut up, stop bleating and concentrate not getting caught offside, and actually sticking the ball in the net - so far 4 games, no goals (living up to his career form ). He's got the pace, so he can give most defenders at least half a yard start and still beat them, so there's no excuse for getting caught offside really. But I'll be really interested to see if people are as quick to get on his back as they were Cisse's. I actually think he'll combine with Kuyt very well. Dirk seems to have the vision (great ball for Bellamy's effort which was ruled out), and he'll no doubt benefit from that.

I thought the linesman got a the decisions correct too. But have to say, I dont mind Bellamy's giving out to the refs. Atleast we know he really cares, I guess it's a bit of psychological warefare with the officials too hoping they will give in and give you a decision with all the pressure, the thing is not to get abusive.
I wonder what he siad to Carrol that time?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Did he not score agaisnt Haifa?

There is a clear diffeerence between him and Cisse so dont start with all that bollocks. Bellers moans when everyone else in the ground moans. the flag goes up for offside, he moans and so do 40,000 other people. Should they all shut up too?

Headless or neckless? I prefer the latter.
Bellamy, lest you forget Ian, has scored his only goal for us against a bunch of fundamentalists in a qualifier, much like Djibs.

You also make a pretty convincing argument that Cisse scored ALL 19 of his goals agisnt rubbish opposition, well he didn't. Unlike Crouch, Cisse scored in the Champions League proper, AND in the FA Cup final.

As for Bellamy "not balsting it straight at the keeper" - Well the chance would be a fine thing.

As AA said, he won't score 19 goals this season, regardless of the paucity of the opposition.

He may not score 19 goals but his effort for the team will be more than Cisse.

it doesn't sound silly at all. I would prefer a player who may score 10 goals and be involved, either directly or indirectly, in creating another 20, than somebody who scores 20 and does nothing else

There's no comparison with regards to effort. Bellamy does more running in 1 game than Cisse does in 10.

Cisse scored 9 premier league goals last season...I'm willing to put money on Bellamy bettering that this season. Any takers?

I was in row 9 today, right behind the goal at The Anny road end in with the West Ham fans and ok, Bellamy moaned about every offside but so what? He'd only moan if he thought he was on. Not like Cisse who moaned about everything and everyoe. Bellers roughed up every single Hammer that came near him. Carroll was told to go forth and multiply eveytime he went near him. Even the hammers fans were laughing. One bloke said to me, "That Bellamy, he is a right cant*, but he is one of those cants* that everyone hates unless he is in your team, inny eh? and you gotta be 'appy with players like that." I agreed.

I was in row 12, and that is the exact word Bellers kept calling Carroll
