A lot of things to disagree with in this thread. Loads of great players were great moaners - Maradonna, Cantona, Shearer, Rush. Look at Rooney's rants. The list goes on. It's part of what makes those players winners, the competitive spirit. I've even seen Henry spit his dummy in games. Bellamy is no different, just maybe a bit more intense, but that just shows his desire and his will to win, something we have been crying out for last season.
I'd rather see Bellamy whinging and battling away than see nando letting his head drop every time something goes against him.
We all knew what he'd be like, I'm sure Rafa knew better than anyone, but I wouldn't have it any other way. He gets all the players and the fans fired up.
It's constructive whinging whereas Cisse's was destructive whinging. That's the way I see it anyway.
His team work is vastly superior to Cisse, there is no comparisson. He may not score as many as 19 goals this season but he'll contribute more than Cisse.

). He's got the pace, so he can give most defenders at least half a yard start and still beat them, so there's no excuse for getting caught offside really. But I'll be really interested to see if people are as quick to get on his back as they were Cisse's. I actually think he'll combine with Kuyt very well. Dirk seems to have the vision (great ball for Bellamy's effort which was ruled out), and he'll no doubt benefit from that.
