A lot of things to disagree with in this thread. Loads of great players were great moaners - Maradonna, Cantona, Shearer, Rush. Look at Rooney's rants. The list goes on. It's part of what makes those players winners, the competitive spirit. I've even seen Henry spit his dummy in games. Bellamy is no different, just maybe a bit more intense, but that just shows his desire and his will to win, something we have been crying out for last season.
I'd rather see Bellamy whinging and battling away than see nando letting his head drop every time something goes against him.
We all knew what he'd be like, I'm sure Rafa knew better than anyone, but I wouldn't have it any other way. He gets all the players and the fans fired up.

It's constructive whinging whereas Cisse's was destructive whinging. That's the way I see it anyway.

His team work is vastly superior to Cisse, there is no comparisson. He may not score as many as 19 goals this season but he'll contribute more than Cisse.
rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.

    Goals 2006/7 (CS, PL, CL)
1: Agger, Bellamy, Fowler, Alonso, Garcia
    2: Gonzalez, Kuyt, Riise
    5: Crouch

But I'll be really interested to see if people are as quick to get on his back as they were Cisse's. I actually think he'll combine with Kuyt very well. Dirk seems to have the vision (great ball for Bellamy's effort which was ruled out), and he'll no doubt benefit from that.
Bellamy is a scummy ****. I might be a killer but hitting women aint right. Still at least he's not a ****ing lazy **** like Cisse. Also not having the first touch of a rapist helps. Trust me.

He didn't. Bellamy does score goals, so I don't see how you can possibly say Glove was suggesting he preferred someone that worked hard rather than someone who scores goals. He just acknowledged the importance of factors other than goalscoring and decided the trade-off of a few goals in choosing Bellamy over Cisse was worth it.

                          Agreed

Dont understand why he has to take so much sticks from our own supporters.

I can accept if he is playing **** and the supporters have a go at him but he is playing well and working extremely hard every game and still get critisized.

He only played against 4 teams so far. Why not you wait for a full season to be completed first before you comment on who he scored against.

                            Stop being a Donkey, Kong.

You also make a pretty convincing argument that Cisse scored ALL 19 of his goals agisnt rubbish opposition, well he didn't. Unlike Crouch, Cisse scored in the Champions League proper, AND in the FA Cup final.

As for Bellamy "not balsting it straight at the keeper" - Well the chance would be a fine thing.

As AA said, he won't score 19 goals this season, regardless of the paucity of the opposition.

I was waiting for a thread like this to start.

This is what Bellamy does, he's a nuisance. But he is ours! He will work his bollocks off for the team all day long, and he will do anything to win....hence the dummy spits.

I certainly dont have a problem with him doing this.....as long as he doesnt get obusive to the linesman there is no harm being done. It just shows how much he wants "it".

Cisse didnt just complain about being offside...he complained about errant passes etc. Theres a huge difference between Bellamy's complaing and Cisse's. If a ball played in to Bellamy misses its target he doesnt throw a tantrum ala Cisse....No he sets of like a hare after it, and if the defender beats him to it he harrasses the **** out of him, which generally causes mistakes.

One things for sure. With Bellamy, Kuyt and Sissoko in the team the opposing players are going to be in for a rough ride.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Why is this silly? His application and work rate alone dwarfs anything Cisse has done. Bellers works hards and closes the opposition down, something that Cisse rarely or never did.
