I thought he was superb yesterday. I can't wait to see more of him in a red shirt. Hopefully he starts and scores at woodison in 2 weeks.

What I REALLY liked was the fact that he had a shot from miles out with his 3rd touch....can obviously bang them in from a distance.....which is nice
That was a good effort but the one that had Roy Carroll at full stretch to touch the ball round the post really showed Kuyts quality. The power he generated for that header that went wide was impressive as well.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

I'm not a Crouch fan, but you can't knock his start. ATM, he's doing what I want from LFC Strikers, and that's put the ball in the net, so credit where credit is due. If Crouch has listened to Rafa, who's asked him to up his goal rate, Bellamy could do well to watch and learn.Originally posted by G_ManAn impressive first 25 minutes, fair play to you RS and all the other Kuyt officionardos
I'll be happier once he's off the mark, he was unlucky today. What a ball to Bellers though for that disallowed goal, that was brilliant vision.
Having said that, Crouch deserves a lot of credit for his goal today, that's 2 starts 2 goals this season for Crouchie plus he scored in the Community Shield. For some reason he only ever gets stick so I'd like to add my appreciation to Crouch as I seem to be a lone voice in support of him.

If I was Robbie, I'd be really worried.Originally posted by SlammerI thought Kuyt was excellent when he came on, looked like he had played there all year! His vision and work effort is brilliant, extremely unlucky not to score! i feel rafa has bought another star!
What a selection of strikers we now have! Crouchy, Bellers , Fowler and Kuyt things are looking up!

I say lets be careful on this one.
He's only played 40 minutes, not nearly enough evidence to suggest he'll cut it.
Don't get me wrong I also think he'll be a good signing but everyone to a man thought the same about Morientes, and look how that turned out.
He did link up well with Gerrard, none of our other strikers have done this to date. Interesting.I hate Polanski
