    Wow, cheers for that insight.
Why on earth are you comparing Cech to Reina ?

    I never mentioned Cech.

The fact is Reina's abilities were exaggerated last season, as a result of our solid backline.

In truth, he was at fault for a good 7/8 goals.

Plus, he almost lost us the Cup final.

I'm proving that other top goalies make mistakes thats why. Which you dont seem to acknowledge due to your agenda against any of our good players. You slag off Alonso, you slag off Finnan and now Reina is getting it. You're one bizarre person. Then again what do we expect from someone who pretended to be a Premiership footballer on an Internet forum?

well there are two sides to every story, i recon our defence was as solid as it was due to reina, he keeps the defence together, you notice that when the dude is in the goal, the back 4 aren't as easy and comfortable, but sure there were some goals that he should have saved, and he saved some that he shouldn't have, but i don't belive for one minute that he was at fault for as much as 8 goals last season...

i belive he is on of the better keepers in the premier league if not on par with the best, i think he doesn't have to make as many saves as other keepers do to the fact that he plays so high up the pitch like the 5 defender, and as a result he often deals with the situation befor it becomes a threat, and this is why he was bought, has said it in interveiws that raffa wanted him to play like that...

                I would say if we had a vote on this site;

Who won us the FA Cup, Stevie or Pepe, you'll find 90% would say Stevie ?

Pepe almost lost us the Cup. Twice.

I would say if we had a poll about who's being a picky bugger, 90% would say you. What does it matter who won what, thats got nothing to do with the original question, so lets get back on topic.

It's got everything to do with the topic.

                    Today's 'freak' goal wasn't a one off.

Reina has made more than his fair share of errors in his short time at the club.

                    I think he's overated.

Most people seem to think hes the best keeper in the league. And the main reason we had such a solid defence last season. Anyway, your knowledge of goalkeepers isnt that great is it? if it was, youd pick a far better keeper than that bellend david james to sadly pretend to be

I don't think he's overated in the slightest, always seems to be ignored in the media, for the likes of Cech, Lehman etc and I wouldn't say he's any worse of a keeper then either of those. Lets look at this way: He's a good shot stopper, He's good at saving pens, he's good at catching the ball in the air, he's good at punching the ball, he's good at reading the game and coming out for the ball when needed to, he's got excelent distribution (some of the best I've ever seen from a keeper) - the only weakness I can see in his game is with his decision making sometimes. So let me see he's about 24, which means he's still in his early years as a keeper, and all he's got to do is work on his decision making which will come with age anyway, hmmm seem's like a good keeper to me.

like i said in the post above, i disagree...

todays freeky goal was a one of, this is the sort of **** james used to pull whilst at anfield (no pun intended)...

he may make some errors but their never this big, fa cup against chelea yes, and the final one goal, couldnt do about the others...

you can say he should save this and save that but he almost never directly responsable for goals

I reckon Reina is overrated by many Liverpool fans. He's still pretty ****ing good, mind.

Definitely Pepe's fault ultimately, but where the **** was Fabio?

Is it just me or does anyone else think he hasn't got a ****ing clue about playing left back? He was at fault for the Sheff Utd goal too

To be fair to him he was apparently signed to play left midfield but WTF?
rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.

could you go through his errors? apart from birmingham early last season and ONE goal in the cup final (the third was a freak), I cannot think of too many more
