I think that's being kind. I've never heard as much muck talked for 90 minutes in my whole life, as Dean Saunders spouted out tonight.
Was undecided about watching the Auxerre match in the bar on Friday, but he has just made my mind up for me.
If Setanta dare give him any Premiership games, I’m asking for a refund.
Agreed. Dean Saunders was spouting so much **** he was doing my head in. FFS Setanta, 9.99 a month to listen to him? All is forgiven Andy Gray... maybe not you bluenose tw@t.

Torres and Kuyt will start against Villa, with The Crow coming off the bench IMO. Torres would have bagged a hatful if he started tonight. Voronin was superb though

Torres is never going to be a clinical finisher but you can see already that is a cut above our other strikers and will causes problems with a combination of technique and pace as well as his vision
Unfortunately that's what we really needed though.

Don't take life too seriously or you'll never get out alive.

Not so sure about that. I think we struggled more last season because of our forwards inability to turn defenders and stretch teams down the pitch, than because they couldn't finish.
Well if Rafa thinks that paying £ 20m for him gives him the right to be in the first eleven, no matter how he plays, them we're fooked fella.
The point is though, Torres is not being bought to start 50% of his games on the bench, he will start more often than not, and has the ability to force his way onto the starting 11 on a regular basis. We would rather see him starting than coming off the bench
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
