That is what I thought until I saw his lacklustre performance against Feyenoord. He seriously looked like he was coasting and couldn't be arsed.

There's no doubting the talent is there - but it's just whether he wants to work hard enough to bring it out.
          Liverpool born and bred.

            1) match fitness and sharpness
            2) he is building confidence back up in his body; and therefore
            3) taking time to build up confidence in his ability (particularly to go past defenders)

He will take a bit more time and i know you and some others arent prepared to give him any more but i am pretty sure Rafa is going to because the payoff could be handsome.

I have watched Harry pretty much his whole career and he has not delivered here what we expected to get. He had a good spell in his first 6 months and was consistently effective, without being to his best level in 05/06. In fact there is only one game for us where i felt he played to his level and that was a the end of 05/06, Chelsea FA cup semi where he toyed with all of their defenders. Unfortunately he got carried away and pushed too hard and broke down again.

That is why i feel we need to be just a little more patient. It is still there but until he is confident his body can we expect him to rampant on defences again. I think he is close but he doesnt want to push it too far too early, one step at a time, for want of a better term.

Remember he is playing for a contract and cannot afford to get injured now. He can still be an effective player at 60-70% fitness as we saw in 05/06. I suspect he is between 80-90% now and will (touching wood) soon be 95%. Once there and confident again we have a left winger to rival any in the league.

            Rant over, thanks for listening
            Complete Bollox!!!

He cant deliver because he has **** all to deliver, never has had never will have

Need to be patient with him. FFS you must be his agent!!!

Kewell and Rampant are 2 words that will never be associated!!!

            Kewell is a fake....................FACT!!!

FFS even Carter was better.....and it doesnt get any nmore damming than that!!!

PS; I admire your patrotism albiet blind

Take it you are young Assassin? Kewell was a great player in the past, you can maybe say he has lost his talent but no way can you say he has never been a good player.

To be fair, he may have been a good player in the past but to claim he was a great player is taking the piss.

When we signed him i spoke to a few leeds fans. Genuine lads who watch leeds all the time and they were dead surprised we`d gone for him. They said he was a "match of the day player" where he will do one or two little things decent then do **** all else.

I thought they were being bitter at the time but soon realised they were spot on.

                  Exactly the same here mate.

My Leeds mate seemed to love and hate him in equal measure. He said when he was good he was truly phenomenal, but only did it in fits and starts and he frustrated the life out of him.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I thought he did OK in that game.

Fair play but he must have had the skills when he was younger to win the PFA young player of the year award and score 45 goals in 181 matches for Leeds.
He was great in some of the games I remember him playing in, but as you say maybe I have selective memory or only watched his good games. Just think its a bit harsh to say he was never a good player and say he was worse than Carter.

He has so much to prove but yet he walks around the pitch with his head down most of the time. If he's worried about getting injured then stop playing him.

This is correct. Houllier actually signed his non-football playing twin brother Barry by mistake. It's because it looks like Kewell, it talks like Kewell, but it doesn't play like the Kewell who came from Leeds.

                              See above (re: shaggy)

Ice Ham, because the owner is from Iceland

Barry Kewell is funny in a way...because it could almost be the real deal.

But the Ice Ham stuff is so so lame....its not even funny in the slightest.

he has the potential to be the best player in the world.......according to him

He looks like a spent force i am affraid, would love for him to prove me wrong......I reckon he will be flogged in January to Bolton/Wigan and we will bring in a new left winger or maybe Leto will have proved worthy of a chance
