I don't believe Ferguson ever wanted to let Heinze go or he wouldn't have made him captain for that game at the end of last season.

And unless Heinze wins us the title with a last minute header at Old Trafford, it unlikely they will regret selling him. But they are certain to regret the way they sold him.

Anybody that damages that club is alright by me. From Denis Law to Martin Edwards to Gabby Heinze.
The thing is, I know it sounds weird, but I've always liked Heinze for some reason, and whenever I've been asked who I'd take in their team, it's always been Giggs and him. I just like his no nonsense style and the fact that hes a tough argie.

Who knows how well he's recovered from injury though. Before his injury, he was a very good defender.

He's a ****ing injury prone, over the hill, diving, Manc **** who didn't have the grace to wear a black armband to commemorate Hillsborough. I hope we turn round and say, "Nah, sorry son, we don't want you." He'll then be forced to stay at Utd and endure the venom of the Scum fans.

        "Argentina. Argentina"

The ***** will be invading Las Malvinas like they did Rome and Lille.

I don't want him anywhere near a Liverpool shirt.

That's the one thing I'm worried about. He played quite poorly after his injury

If Heinze comes in no doubt he will be first choice

The only thing this saga demonstrates is Slur Alex's undimished hatred of Liverpool FC.

I can't imagine there would any such problem if Heinze wanted to sign for Chavski.

He'll hardly be lying awake at night worrying about Heinze being our 'missing' link.

I admire Heinze for his stance but it hardly makes him a legend ffs.

Lets look at the facts, he had a great first season, suffered serious injury and has looked second rate since, hence he'll be leaving them. They rarely if ever let players go that they go on to regret.

Its a little embarrasing how some on here are cumming themselves over the lad.
Since when did footballing ability come into it
I didn't say he was a legend, just one in the making. By virtue of the fact he seems determined to join Liverpool and that he could be the first person in 40 odd years to do so, then by default he will go down in Liverpool history should he join.

Presumably having Heinze would help convince Masha to stay....

If Fergiescum was at all concerned over Heinze's fitness or recovery from injury he would drive him to Liverpool personally to pick up the cheque for 6.8 mil IMO. Then he would be laughing all the way to the bank if heinze was crocked for any time at all.
