In fairness we're not talking about a guy who's earning 15k a year. Diao is made. He earns huge money. He'll still earn huge money even with a pay cut.
Well before the inflated wages came in, football was about playing just to play, win and be the best. With Diao, the money should be a secondary thing. And it's very easy to make it secondary when even the smallest wage he could get is well up there in real world terms.Comment
