I can't imagine you have if you haven't seen one of if not our most consistent performer since Rafa arrived!

Maybe I've just missed how good Lucas Neil has been in that time,but since I don't hear anyone apart from you raving and it can only be described as raving,like those of a nutcase,I assume it's to do with the fact he's Australian and **** all else.

Don't get me wrong, Finnan isn't as bad as Josemi and playing better than Kromkamp at the moment. I don't see as many games as I wish I could due to living in Oz, but I've seen a fair few and of the two players I rate Neill more. Just my opinion. Obviously Rafa's too

I think it'd be good for both players to battle for DR, but Neill also covers middle and left which is always handy.

Honestly though if you ask anyone here who see all our matches either live or on the box,as most and all are covered by MOTD and GoS,I think you'll find that 99.99% will agree that Finnanis the better player.

Rafa is signing him because Kromkamp has failed to settle yet again and is off (probably back home) meaning we need a new RB. That doesn't mean Rafa thinks Neill is better than Finnan though does it?

You're entitled to your opinion, I never said otherwise. It's just I think most people would agree Finnan is a far superior player. I'm not saying Neill is **** by any means, he's a very competent defender. He's also a seriously dirty player and I'd prefer it if we could find someone who wasn't but if we end up with him I won't be having nightmares about him playing - as I said I do think he's a good player.
