BLACKBURN: Another new arrival for Blackburn boss Mark Hughes as Shabani Nonda (1833) has signed from AS Roma on a season-long loan with an option to make the move permanent. Jonathon Douglas has moved to Leeds, defender Andy Todd is being tipped for a move from Ewood Park and Lucas Neill has been linked with Liverpool.

I think they're just rehashing the same story. It's 7.p.m. and I'd be amazed if we managed to fit in a medical and complete the deal now.

There was one deal last year at 23:59, but obviously dependant on passing a medical & agreeing personal terms, which they did, so do not rule anything out, or in, until 0001 01 Sep 2006

It should be an interesting few hours. I bet there are loads of agents and managers running around like mad men trying to conclude deals.

Although as you, i would prefer to see Alves arrive i wouldn't say no to Neill right now!
