do ya know what....if stevie was injured, so ****ing what?
We have the players to cover anyone..Incl Stevie.
We will manage without him very well if hes injured, like previous seasons we may even play better without him.
We are far from a 1 man team, and dont even think this anti stevie because I love the guy.im just saying he is not as vital to us as some of you poofs clearly think. Man up

What price Gerrard, Terry and Carvalho playing?Originally posted by Skullflower View PostSteven Gerrard is doubtful for Sunday's Premier League match against Chelsea at Anfield after the England player limped home, heavily bandaged, from the south of France last night, the victim of a cynical stamp on his right foot.

I think thats all it is. He didn't look too bad walking off, and played on for a bit after the stamp. If he was that bad he would have signaled to come off, Gerrard would have been well aware about the chances of doing himself worse damage. It cant be any serious damage to his foot surely.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostIf it's just a bruise then he'll be alright for Sunday.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

Id say it was about 10 or 15 mins before he came off.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostWhen did he get the stamp on his foot? Was it early on in the match or just before he was subbed?Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

Assuming he was okay for those 15 minutes and was moving quite freely I think we could rule out a break. Perhaps he was taken off as a precaution with Sundays match in mind.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

It seems most likely alright mate.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostAssuming he was okay for those 15 minutes and was moving quite freely I think we could rule out a break. Perhaps he was taken off as a precaution with Sundays match in mind.
There are reports of him having his leg heavily strapped up leaving for the coach afterwards. Hope it is just a precaution. To be honest, I think it would be more baffling had Gerrard not realised himself how bad his foot was and played on. He should know by now, what is serious and what is not.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
