What do you think of Rafas spending so far this summer?

Has he made the right signings and sold the right players or should he have sold more players, like four or five more and signed one or two class players instead of them and got a smaller squad but with class all over the place.

I think he more or less has made the right signings and sold the right players. Maybe he could have sold Sissoko and Crouch and signed someone like Quaresma instead but I'm happy with our signings this summer.

Voronin is the big positive surprise so far and I think Lucas will be a fantastic player for us. Torres will deliver, he has to much class not to do that, give him a month or two and then he will show what a great player he is.

Leto hasn't played that much for us but he looked good when he played but we will have to wait and see but I think he will be our left winger in a year or two.

Benayoun, will he be the creative player we need after we sold Garcia? I'm not so sure yet. A surprise signing by Rafa.

Excellent signings that will deliver for us both now and the next few years. Everyone talks about Arsenals young squad but we don't have that much older squad than them.

I think its been a very positive summer personally, ideally id have kept lil luis but i think family issues had a part to play there, wouldnt say benny yoon was a surprise as he was mentioned last year too. Still think we need a cb ideally a fast young up and keeping cb and a bloody good right winger....I just dont know of any really, again personally I think swp would have been a very good addition to our team. But ill settle for quaresma. Overall Im very happy even if we dont sign anyone else.

Torres looks a good purchase, Voronin a very astute signing, but those two apart I'm disappointed.

I had hoped we would sign a quality wide player and we've just completely failed to do that. Whether or not you believe the hype about Babel he is not a winger, nor is Yossi. Or Lucas. All perhaps good players in their ideal role, maybe even potentially stars, but none of those roles is as a wide midfielder.

The fact Pennant is still the best in the wide positions we have shows where we've gone wrong this Summer.

I would say that Yossi is a wide midfielder to be honest. Thats always where I see him play and his well suited to it. What he isn't is a winger.

Not sure what Babel is other than a talented attacking player at the minute. He does well running off the wing.

I'm disappointed we didn't get another winger to balance/swap/compete with Pennant but I don't think it is as much of a problem as people make out.

I think that with the way Kuyt drops off id Torres, Benayoun and Babel make the right runs off him and into the box we will be a formidable side. We are clearly currently trying to get our attacking players to gel but we have to give it time before we judge the summer signings and their influence on the team.

If it wasn't for Torres, I'd have been a bit disappointed.

Having said that, the new boys are here and deserve their chance. Give them a season and judge them then.

Sure but he would have been a great signing.

Heinze could still come and he will be another top signing despite question marks about his post injury form. Rafa will get the best out of him.
