It was a correct penalty last week. Carra didn't had his arm or hand anywere close to his body so it doesn't matter if it was deliberate or not.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think anyone that dismisses the possibility of the ref being bribed is being naive. Its happened in Italy and happened to us against Inter Milan in 1965.
Syles today was either totally incompetent or he clearly favoured Chelsea. For me the latter is just as likely. It wasn't just the penalty decision. He clearly sent essien off then changed his mind. At every free kick their wall was about 6 yards back. He gave us nothing.
Now Styles is poor, he always has been. Our peno last season against Sheff U was a joke but I don't believe he was just incompeteant today, I genuinely believed he favoured Chelsea.AKA Heighway No9

I think it could certainly be bias, but I don't think that direct bribary is a likely explanation.Originally posted by Sir Bob View PostI think anyone that dismisses the possibility of the ref being bribed is being naive. Its happened in Italy and happened to us against Inter Milan in 1965.

he booked more chelsea players, he didn't send Essien or whoever off because he's a bottler and maybe he didn't want to answer to the FA about his decisions, the penalty decision was just his typical standard of refereeing, he's card happy and a prick, nothing in that match said to me he's favouring the other side just that he's incompetent and ****Originally posted by Sir Bob View PostI think anyone that dismisses the possibility of the ref being bribed is being naive. As Sir Bob says. It's naive to think that bribed refs don't exist in the PL.Originally posted by Operation View PostI think it could certainly be bias, but I don't think that direct bribary is a likely explanation.
It's to much money involved for that not being the case and the FA is to scared to do any proper investigation.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Exactly right. In fact by booking more Chav palyers he could easily have been trying to divert attention from his mach changing decision. He was either paid off or he's a complete incompetent cock sucker who should be dealt with.Originally posted by Tom View PostWhen referrees are bribed they only have to make one match-changing decision - it doesn't matter that he booked more of them than us.

maybe so, but i still don't think he favoured them, he's a **** ref and always has been, he was trying to be the big time Charlie and got it badly wrong today as he does most gamesOriginally posted by Tom View PostWhen referrees are bribed they only have to make one match-changing decision - it doesn't matter that he booked more of them than us.Thomas Hicks Senior
