LMAO - I watched the game with a Chavski mate who thought the penalty was a joke.
However, we thought Ben Haim had got the second yellow.
How many ****ing players got sent off them?!
Long story short - no corruption... I hope... - but the ref ****ed it up and should be refereeing school-girl hockey before he does a football match at any level again
I hope IT IS a corruption and that Styles never referees again and the Chavs go to League 2

If proof were needed that the ref was incompetent, even Andy 'Bluenose' Gray said so!!
As for the Essien thing, I suspect he forgot he had already booked him earlier and when the 4th official contacted him on the radio to tell him, he had to cover it up and deny the 2nd booking, otherwise he really would have been in the **** with the FA.:whatever:
However, on a brighter note, we really did look like potential Champions yesterday.
Life is NOT a journey to the grave with the goal of arriving safely in a prettily preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways in a shower of gravel and party shards, thoroughly used, utterly exhausted, and loudly proclaiming: "F*** ME, that was BRILLIANT!"
The most sad thing is that not a word from the PL that sounds like Styles will be banned so he will probably be in action this week as normal
I wish they could get balls and act against the most rotten team in football but that will never happen, thay make even Juve look like angels.
The Cole tapping up.
The Tottenham affair.
The bullying of the refs week in week out.
The diving and cheating every game.
The Mikel deal that included kidnaping.
Oh what a great and wonderful club, or maybe not.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

You could have signed when I posted it in my ref about Styles but better late than never

Jesus. How many teams every week across the country feel hard done by by dodgy refereeing decisions? If they all did a petition and got every ref sacked then were the **** would we be?
This is getting a bit silly IMO.

I can take a "dodgy decision" or two and wouldn't normally sign anything like this, but that "performance" yesterday was way, WAY more than just "dodgy". There was something a bit sinister about it and, as has been said on here already, it'd be a bit naive to totally rule out the possibility that that **** took a bribe.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
