Perhaps, though 13 in 27 last season says otherwise. It just pisses me off when people use ridiculous stats to attempt to prove their point, especially when all they ever seem to want to post about is that one point.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

£9/10 million. Rip off!Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThe thing with Kuyt, for me, and has been mentioned before, is that he doesn't scare centre-backs. He barely even works them in dangerous areas. He comes into more contact with the opposition's midfield and one of the oppo's centre-backs are often getting a free ride, enabling them at times to double up on our other striker, cos Kuyt's nowhere near the box.
That said I thought he was excellent at Villa last week and he wasn't *****e* today - I just feel we can do better.

See, that's a fair post, not that I agree with it completely, but at least there's some thought in itOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThe thing with Kuyt, for me, and has been mentioned before, is that he doesn't scare centre-backs. dont think this is a drogba thread unless you wanna start one. so get with the programmOriginally posted by MrMichael View PostRemind me how many shots on target Drogba had? Guess he must be **** too then. FFS, this anti-Kuyt axe some people seem to need to grind 24/7 is pathetic imo. :whatever:

That's the big plus for Kuyt this season, IMO. He's an intelligent player and seems to have instantly struck up a bond with Torres. They dovetail very well and are on the same wavelength.Originally posted by cadmium View PostKuyt was great in the first half, average in the second. The looks to be a decent partnership there between him and Torres
It remains to be seen how Crouch and Voronin work with Torres but Dirk's big advantage, so far, is that he's proved he can work well with Torres. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Don't think my patience with your ****tishness isn't at breaking point. Your point was about Kuyt having no shots on target in today's game, and how that makes him ****, Drogba, probably the best striker in the league, also played in the game, not that you'd have noticed as you only seem to notice one player in all our games, and he also had no shots on target, so my point is more than vaild :whatever:Originally posted by justcruisin View Postdont think this is a drogba thread unless you wanna start one. so get with the programmI could not dig, I dared not rob:

I think we could have two very good partnerships, Torres/Kuyt and Voronin/Crouch, will be interestign to see what the latter play together like, but I was very impressed with Kuyt/Torres partnership today.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThat's the big plus for Kuyt this season, IMO. I`d like to see a Torres/Voronin partnership given a 4 game run to see what happens.Originally posted by cadmium View PostI think we could have two very good partnerships, Torres/Kuyt and Voronin/Crouch, will be interestign to see what the latter play together like, but I was very impressed with Kuyt/Torres partnership today.

14 goals? Thats something to remember him about?! Ronaldo from the wing for the scum scored more. Heck even Cisse scored moreOriginally posted by Red_Al_77 View Post14 goals in his first season. Match winning performances amongst them. His pass back caused the first goal against Villa etc etc.
